Premier Concours Jeunes Talents Francophones

On Saturday 21 February 2009, ISC Lahore held its very first inter-school competition for talented francophones in between leading schools in Lahore.

After careful preparation and organization since September on the part of the French department and eager students, the show was a success. Six schools participated, performing various skits, poems, songs and dances. Although Choueifat students prepared comedy sketches, songs and a fashion show, they were not judged. The atmosphere was festive and lively, and translations of the show were displayed on a projector so that everyone could enjoy what the schools had prepared. Even then, the language barrier was virtually non-existent and everyone heartily enjoyed the show given that every single participant poured their heart out in to their performances.

Prizes were given according to the best performance, the most creative school and the best presentation. It is nights like these that bring the Pakistani-French community together in harmony and we received wonderful feedback from everyone who attended.
