English & Urdu Drama Competition

ISC-Lahore held the first ever English/Urdu Drama Competition on Saturday, May 29, 2010 for students of grades 7-11.  The event was divided into two parts.  The English plays and skits were performed in the first half; whereas, the Urdu segment was presented in the second half.  The first English play was entitled My English Teacher is Missing written by Mrs. Moona A. Zaidi, Head of the English Department, and the second play Highway to Wonderland was written by Mustafa Imran of 11L.  Both teams gave an amazing performance, but the winner of the day was Highway to Wonderland.

The two Urdu plays were Aheyy Mere Sapnay  written by Mrs. Yasmine Shah, Head of the Urdu Department and Subha ka Bhoola written by our Urdu teacher Mr. Salman Bhatti.  Again, both teams performed with zeal and energy, but it was Aheyy Mere Sapnay  which stole the show.  This event was organized by the combined effort of the English and Urdu Departments. We look forward to more such events which can help our students to display their wonderful talents.

THE ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION 2010

The art was classified under two main themes. The first was “Sea World “while the other theme was “Flora & Fauna “. The work was displayed on panels and screens.
