ISC Lahore Students ART Work For Eid-ul-Fitr

ISC Lahore students’ artistic work in the happiness of Eid-ul-Fitr

Iftar Dinner

On September 18, the last Friday of Ramadan, everybody throughout the country was engaged in celebrating the important day. The International School of Choueifat also showed the day’s significance by inviting its students to an iftar dinner.This important event took place in the big Activities Hall of the school, which according to the theme looked beautiful in shades of black and white. By the time of the iftari, all the students had arrived, and were received warmly by the hosts, ( the “Class of 2010”). The iftari began with a holy recitation of the Quraan, followed by traditional delicacies such as dates, pakoras, fruit chaat, roohafza etc. The boys were then called for the prayers after which the main couse was served, it consisted of chicken karahi, chicken manchurian. Everyone was entertained by a slideshow which was about the students. Special awards were given to four people i.eMs Margo, Mr Fayyad, Momin Ali 11SB and Mahnoor Rokhri 11L for being the best dressed. After this awards ceremony the extravagant event came to an end.

Iftar Party

ISC-Lahore was proud to host an iftar party for the new and returning faculty of the 2009-2010 academic school year. The iftar party was held on August 27, 2009 (5 of Ramazan) in the main Activities Hall. The event commenced with the call for prayer followed by the traditional breaking of the fast with dates and other delicacies. The staff then offered congregated prayer which was followed by a mouth watering dinner prepared by the expert ISC-Lahore cafeteria staff. Events such as these are part of Choueifat’s history. They allow new and returning staff to familiarize themselves with one another and strengthen further the atmosphere of professionalism, team building and mutual support. The entire staff considers itself a family and extends this feeling of care to all ISC-Lahore students. The dedicated faculty of ISC-Lahore wishes everyone a wonderful and successful academic year.
