	ISC Lahore is introducing “Text Notification Service” to convey to parents and guardians all the necessary and important updates through sending text messages on their cell phones. This new service will bring parents and ISC Lahore into close contact and cooperation.
	Accelerated Reader (AR) Program was inaugurated for Teachers on Thursday, November 13, 2008. All teachers were very excited about launching of the AR Program in ISC Lahore – 1st ever in any school of Pakistan. Teachers also wrote their comments in the Visitors Book regarding the AR Program
	Classes have been resumed after Eid-ul-Fitr holidays on Monday, October 06, 2008
	August 25 – 29, 2008 was marked Staff Orientation Week – the major, school – wide preparation and training for the start for the academic year 2008-2009.
	ISC Lahore inaugurated the new academic year 2008 – 2009 on Monday, September 1, 2008. Over 1500 students started classes in KG1 to G13.
	ISC Lahore opened, on June 11, 2008, a grand exhibition of photographs celebrating our 15^th anniversary
	Staff dinner: Was held on June 17, 2008 at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore.
	Summer School: The 2008 Summer School, completely organized and run by grade 11 and 12 students, begins on August 4 and ends on August 22.

About Student Life

The Student Life Organization is about having better school life through training students to be socially responsible. Socially responsible students make their school cleaner and safer; decrease class disruption so students learn more; provide academic support and guidance to students who need it; learn to manage by experience; and since efficient work leads to more free time, organize fun educational activities. Needless to say, fun activities can be offered only when the essential elements of discipline and academic learning have taken place satisfactory.
